One plot of land. And the whole house was like an opera. We danced; we shouted; we prayed; we praised God. God who said and who made it to come to pass exactly.

What does this celebration of MFM 35th Anniversary mean to you, ma?

It means God’s amazing grace and faithfulness to me. Faithfulness in what He has promised and that He is able to make provisions for. I mean, in summary, that is how I see it. And we are celebrating MFM at 35. It is amazing. What can we do than to say, “Thank you, Lord for your faithfulness. Hallelujah.” So, of course, talking about the journey so far and celebrating this milestone. It is unbelievable how time flies. But whether we accept it or not, it is has been a beautiful long 35 years. So, time flies so quickly and this indeed is amazing to us in every way. We hail our awesome God. All glory, honor and adoration be unto Him alone.

So, as we all know, milestones are about life’s journey and all the significant things that you can mark along that. So, it’s a whole life’s journey right from the beginning. And when I say life’s journey, ministerial journey and commitments as well. So, every anniversary comes with memories. And there are significant moments, events and stuff like that that you just want to remember and think around. They don’t just fizzle out like that because they are just with the journey you have embarked on. So, yes, with a retrospective look at the historic moments and of the realities of the revelations and prophecies that God gave to us at that initial stage and in subsequent stages in the journey of the events till date are wonderful proofs of God’s faithfulness and mercy. So, all the revelations, all the prophecies, warnings, promises, plans and provisions about the ministerial vision and the commission have been wonderful also. And we keep marking all those things. We keep going back to our drawing table with God, talk things over, look at what He has promised, and see how they are unfolding. All these things are worth celebrating. The enable you to remember the awesomeness and the faithfulness of God in the journey.

This is a celebration of what God has promised that you will see materializing. This is about what He has promised that you can see and rest upon and be rest assured that even the future looks brighter and we’re all, and all will be well, in Jesus’ name because they keep unfolding at every point in time. So, we’re celebrating all of this now and it has been 35 years of these glorious events. Wonderful. God is good.

Ma, what are your most cherished memories from the past 35 years as a member of this great ministry?

Well, in terms of that, you want to think about the family sector and when you’re talking about that, we’re talking about our family, where the vision and they journey all started. The next family is the MFM family worldwide that God brought into existence from the vision that He has given to us. So, all of these nice memories, how they all started and began to get into form. There are so many things attached to all of these things that are very beautiful memories to me. I can just hand-pick from so numerous to even remember. I can remember a moment when we finished praying. Of course, the brethren were gathered together. All those who started in the journey, walking with my husband and there would be a time, set aside in the week when they would gather to pray. I used to describe that as our UPPER room or chamber.

So, they gathered and prayed. My own role as a helpmate would be to make sure that things were ready for them. Probably they were breaking their fast. People were free in our house and as newlyweds as well. So, everywhere was like everybody owned the place along with us. It was so open and like that. So, there was one of these moments like that. After their prayers, a woman came around and I thought she was going to wait for them to finish performing, but I think she had to be somewhere. I tried to prevail on her to stay, adding that it would not be long before they rounded off the prayer. So, the woman stayed and was chatting along with me and we were talking and then the prayer meeting ended. They came outside; they had a chat together. Then they prayed for her. And then I later realized that she dropped an envelope on our dining table. After she has been prayed for, she left. And then at that time, part of the prayer content of the prayer meeting at that time was like trusting God because Daddy’s automobile repairer came to him and said, “Daddy, we found a piece of land at Olasimbo Street. My workshop is right behind it and I could see people coming to negotiate. So, it is a lot of land anyway. But I think it would be nice because we have been paying so much at the 60 Old Yaba Road. That was because the people kept increasing; our monthly rental and bills were just rising. And so, this automobile repairer said, “Doctor, I found a plot of land in Olasimbo. I think you should come and look at it. People are negotiating for it.” So, he said the amount was N120,000. At that time, it was like somebody saying into your ears the sum of N150 billion. Where are we going to find that? Not even a million to buy 120,000 naira. And it was part of what they were praying about: “Lord, make a way. Lord, have Your way in all of this; make provision for the vision and so on.

Though these were things God had promised. There’s no harm in going back to God and reminding Him of things when you get to your wit’s end or you think something is not forthcoming. So, that was the thing, and that was the faith, and it still is. We didn’t have to borrow, and we’ve never borrowed in these 35 years that we are talking about, before it, during it, and now, and even beyond till Jesus Christ comes. We have never had any reason to go and borrow. We simply stay by God who provided the vision, and He has always been faithful. So, they went to the envelope that this woman brought. She said it was part of the proceeds from her husband’s properties and everything. When they opened the envelope, it was exactly N120,000. No more, no less.

One plot of land. And the whole house was like an opera. We danced; we shouted; we prayed; we praised God. God who said and who made it to come to pass exactly. And we went to pay, and that is the Olasimbo we occupy now. Many challenges, many things, but all those people who were against us, even on their own accord, now started bringing their properties for us to buy along the line, and we actually became well. God acquired everything for us. We are the largest landlord now, but we came here to this Olasimbo on one plot. God’s faithfulness has always been awesome in the journey. So, no matter any challenge, we always remember how we started and everything God promised, and we keep marking and marking. Out all those words and promises, and we’re still marking. So, God is awesome..

What can I say about the neighbors who once testified against us and they came begging and apologizing and asking us to pray to God to forgive them, and that they’ve realized what they were doing or they have seen the hand of God.

I remember there used to be a building behind us here. I think it has been bought. It is now ours. The man used to say that whenever the service starts, he gets this headache and madness and he would just switch on his radio set, and then he would be making loud noise just to obstruct whatever was going on and to overshadow the message. He came forward. He gave the testimony that he was the one doing that. He said he used to call us FM stereo and that he wanted to prove to us that his own FM stereo was louder. So, he said, “I’m so sorry that I did that, but I could see the hand of God. Even if I had to tune in and turn the thing off, there’s a hand keeping it down. I could see the service just going on unobstructed.” How it was happening, he didn’t know. He became a member anyway.

So, and many things like that, and how people were just giving their lands. “Please, buy me another place if you like. Take my house.” All these things were just coming. and I could see the living God in action. The God of times and seasons, and the God whose word tells us every time that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein. That is actually what he has been doing. These are nice memories for me. There are many wonderful ones.
