The atmosphere that gently enveloped the Sanctuary of Praise, Region 24 of the Tent Makers Pastoral Ministries (Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries), was unmistakably charged with expectancy. As family members and guests arrived, the early signs of a memorable day unfolded, offering a foretaste of the programme aptly titled Family Fun Fiesta. By the time the event formally commenced at 10:00 a.m., the neighbourhood resonated with high praises offered joyfully unto God.
Interspersed with inspiring prayer sessions led by resident pastors and invited ministers, the gathering—comprising adults, youths, teenagers, and children—was visibly excited about offering heartfelt praise and worship to the One who inhabits the praises of His people. The choir set the sanctuary aglow with uplifting songs, prompting many to dance freely in the spirit of biblical David. Worship flowed unhindered, the presence of God was unmistakable, and all adoration ascended heavenward.
The Bible Quiz session came alive as teenagers and children demonstrated keen interest in the study of God’s Word. Gift items were presented to participants who answered questions excellently, while others who showed commendable effort were also encouraged and rewarded. Parents equally contributed vibrant moments that enriched the occasion.
In her exhortation, Pastor Mrs Ifie Ezenwa-Ugwoke, the amiable Regional Overseer, encouraged families and friends to set aside their worries and allow God address their concerns through praise and worship. Adding colour and excitement to the event, the Regional Overseer facilitated the provision of mobile amusement park facilities, offering children engaging recreational experiences.
For the youths, the programme became a moment of sincere soul-searching, set against the backdrop of numerous distractions amplified by social media. A team led by Chidera thoughtfully addressed these challenges, presenting practical and faith-based pathways for a successful Christian life. Their insightful presentation affirmed that the youth wing is guided by committed young professionals who understand and embrace their identity in Christ.
The Family Fun Fiesta concluded with profound prayers, after which participants departed with gift items that reinforced the true reason for the season—the enduring love of God.
